"The pick up was a little further than the hotel compared with what we experienced before from other taxi service but were told taxi not allowed to get closer to the hotel !. However the driver was on time and polite. The car was Mercedes people carrier of basic standard and clean and the journey was good. Overall the experience was good except for dragging the cases a little further than the hotel but may be is not the driver's fault after all."

"I booked a taxi. I had been waiting for booking confirmation but in the very last minute, a driver (who was assigned my last booking by taxicode) texted me that he has been sent my booking but HE CANNOT MANAGE TO COME. I told him if you were not able to come, you should have cancelled my booking in the very beginning so that it could be assigned to any other driver. He did not reply back. This driver kept the booking with him on pending till the last minute, so that if he would not get any other better booking, he would come, otherwise he would go with the better booking. This is what seemingly happened. I had to take a patient to emergency but due to this I was not able to do so then. "

"I tryed to book 2x 12 seater minibus for 2 incoming flights. No minibus but the equivalet cars arrived. One of the filghts was successfully picked p but the second flight was cancelled and despite the passengers getting a flight 30min after in the confusion they were not collected and made their own way there using other taxis. Overall the service was good however the visibility of the driver was not great on collection. I appreciated the phone calls from one of the drivers which was very helpful."

Driver and car was great, but overpriced. The taxi on the way home was 11 GBP less which seems a bit of an excessive mark-up for the convenience of booking online. Not sure I see the value in using again "

"After waiting for the taxi at the airport arrivals (as per the email) for about 15mins, we phoned Elrick taxis who texted back saying the taxi will be there in 10min, and we had to go outside to the drop off zone (in the rain). After a further 20min, we had to phone and text again only to be told that a different vehicle is on the way. "

"The journey from the airport to the destination had no but issues. The driver had no clue where he was going and asked me for directions. Then when I have him directions, not only did he ignore me and several members of the party, he then went the wrong way!! Absolutely furious. We arrived to our destination late, which then lead on to some of the group missing out on other plans. The return journey can’t with no issues apart from the driver being 15 minutes late "

"I eventually cancelled my booking by e-mail as no driver had been allocated to the request for a 0445 pick up to the airport., even though I ordered it at 1100 the previous day. I didn’t want the risk of a no show as we live in a rural area. Although two telephone numbers are listed for contact, my call was disconnected repeatedly or ignored. We made other arrangements to travel only to find that a driver had been allocated at 0150! I called the taxi driver to confirm the cancellation. I received an acknowledgment of my cancellation e-mail and someone would contact me within 48 hours. That was four days ago and I am still waiting. I will not use Taxicode again and cannot recommend them. Don’t use them!! "

"One of our students on the first leg of the journey was late. The older of the two drivers was trying to be funny, I think, and asked us if the student was 'a he or she'. It's not clear why this was relevant, but he seemed to be insinuating that lateness was to be expected from women. I found this to be unnecessaryand unprofessional. We also felt a bit rushed on the way back because the older driver said he had to be at Aberdeen airport by 4pm for a different job. We were due to leave Ballater at 3pm. It would have been nice not to have been made to feel rushed."
